new house leicestershire

This major project was undertaken and completed by Aster Construction. A traditionally built house 5600 square feet over 2 floors having ironstone external walls, timber sliding sash windows and a slate tiled roof.

The external stonework includes coursed ironstone for the main walls with natural limestone for the feature window heads and shaped cills. Other stone features include limestone plinth, feature arrow slits and shaped copings all included to create the traditional construction style.

Internally the property includes natural limestone flooring, wide plank oak flooring and ceramic flooring in the bathrooms. The services installations were extensive and the heating and hot water system includes a ground source heat pump with underfloor heating to both ground and first floor.

Although the property is in the traditional style it includes high levels of insulation and modern features including concealed sound system and computer cabling throughout.
